Softoys

Several months ago, MOM2 went to Arizona and brought back a delightful toy for the Little Guy. It's a fishing bag from Softoys, and it's one of the most unique and fun items I've ever seen for kids.

The bag has a cute ocean scene on the front and Velcros shut. Two fabric fishing poles are included. Each pole has Velcro on the end, and you "fish" by dipping the pole into the bag and pulling out your catch.

The set includes ten fabric items to catch. According to the website, everything is machine-washable, but I haven't needed to test that. Yet.

Each piece is extremely detailed. And amongst the fish, you'll find a shoe.

Look at this octopus! That's a lot of detail on a quality product. On our set, there were no loose threads or loose stitching.

Every piece has made it through the Little Guy's fishing trips without incident...even the flying fish expidition.

Now and then, the Little Guy likes to challenge himself by putting the bag on his head and fishing blind.

Of course, it could just be a fashion statement. Fabric bags featuring ocean scenes are what all the fishing toddlers are wearing this season, right?

At least, fabric bags featuring ocean scenes worn as hats are all the rage for toddlers in the TMI household. I'll let you know if this becomes a trend.

Aww, your son is adorable! I love that your dog just sat there and watched him fish. They're fishing buddies!
